Construction Continues
As the exterior walls go up the building is starting to take shape. The appearance and design of the courthouse promises to be one of the more unique government buildings in the area. Construction should be complete by late 2012 or early 2013.

November 14, 2011 - New Ringgold Annex Complete
The new Ringgold Courthouse Annex is completed after fifteen months of construction. Many residents and officials gathered for the ribbon cutting ceremony and a tour of the facility.




October 18, 2011 - Students Visit Courthouse
The 2nd graders from Gibsland Coleman got a tour of the Courthouse Offices from Police Treasurer Rodney Warren. They stopped by the major offices and learned the functions of each one from their elected officials. Below are the pictures from their stop in the Clerk’s Office where they met with Jim Martin.


LNW Trans-load Project
Representative Rick Gallot and Jim Martin discuss the opening of the new facility with a constituent. Known as the Iron Bridge Road Project, this facility will be used to unload goods from the trains and onto trucks for distribution across the region.



September 14, 2011- AHS Homecoming Elections
Jim Martin, in conjunction with Paula Stewart from the Registrar of Voters Office and Caleb Tidwell, setup and officiated a mock election for the students of Arcadia High School. Students in grades 6-12 voted on candidates for their homecoming court and learned about the election and voting process.
